Job summary

Rush Truck Centres of Canada is seeking a Parts Manager to lead all parts purchasing, distribution and inventory at our Pembroke location. You will supervise parts staff, drive safety standards, and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction.

The role requires at least two years of parts inventory experience in a dealership, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to manage a fast-paced operation with a focus on accuracy and service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Two years’ parts inventory experience in a dealership environment.
• SAP experience is an asset.
• Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets insurability guidelines.
• Criminal Background check.
• Driver’s Abstract.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates the activities of parts personnel at the location.
• Ensure OHSA regulations and safety policy compliance.
• Provide leadership, motivation, development, and supervision for parts employees.
• Schedule work hours for efficient operation of the service department.
• Maintain and account for all parts inventories at the location.
• Manage and determine training programs for proficiency.
• Maintain environmental compliance and protect the environment.
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Implement and monitor company policies, procedures, and strategy.
• Promote positive corporate culture.

TheParts Managerdirects and coordinates the actives of personnel engaged in purchasing and distributing parts and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
• Provide overall leadership, motivation, development, and supervision for all parts employees at the location.
• Focus and achieve a high level of customer service at the location, leading to a high level of measured customer satisfaction.
• Schedule work hours to ensure efficient operation of the service department as per current operating hours.
• Responsible for maintaining and accounting for all parts inventories at the location.
• Manage and determine the training program to ensure proper levels of proficiency are maintained.
• Ensure environmental compliance utilizing programs that meet or exceed governmental required standards, while being proactive to protect the environment and maintain compliance with all required standards.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Ensure that all reporting employees adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Implement, execute, and monitor the Company’s policies, procedures, and strategy.
• Promote and develop positive corporate culture both internally and externally.
• Other related duties as assigned by management.

Basic Qualifications

Annual Salary: $75 000- $90 000 / year plus Bonus
