Job summary

Rush Truck Centres of Canada is hiring a Parts Counterperson to sell commercial vehicle parts over the counter or by phone in Ontario. You will set up daily orders, keep accurate records, and assist customers while complying with OHSA regulations.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and six months of over-the-counter sales experience; SAP knowledge is a plus. Competitive pay and benefits offered by Rush Truck Centres of Canada.

Qualifications

• SAP experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure OHSA compliance and health and safety policies.

• Keep records of repair orders, invoices, and parts and pricing.
• Issue credit for parts returns with supporting invoice.
• Participate in training programs and stay updated on products.

The Parts Counterperson sells commercial vehicle and equipment parts to customers over the counter or by phone.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
• Keep orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts.
• Issue credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
• Participate in all training programs that are made available.
• Keep current on new products and product updates.
• Participate in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.

Minimum Pay Rate

CAD $20.00/Hr.

Maximum Pay Rate

CAD $30.00/Hr.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Six months’ experience in over-the-counter sales, preferably in a dealership or service setting environment
• Experience with SAP is an asset
• Criminal Record Check
• Driver's Abstract
