Finning is seeking a solution-focused Parts Journeyperson – Countersales to join our dynamic team in Edmonton. This role is responsible for providing exceptional parts & inventory service to our customers; you will troubleshoot, collaborate, and effectively handle parts orders via phone, walk-in, or email.

Job Description:

Major Job Functions:

• Support all parts functions including parts sales, sourcing, and ordering used parts; Inventory control
• Develop and maintain customer relationships through front counter sales and shop parts sales
• Pulling customer and branch parts orders, processing parts credits and Core inspections
• Sorting and binning incoming stock, packing, and labeling parts orders for shipment
• Participate in parts-related special projects and assignments, call quality, and performance initiatives as required. Support and engage in all Health and Safety activities.
• Support in all Employee Experience Survey (ESS) and Net Promoter Score (NPS) activities

Other functions may include but are not limited to:

• NEP sourcing of CAT and non-CAT parts
• Hydraulic Hose building
• Procurement of non-CAT parts
• Managing backordered parts

Please note: Any future shift changes will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement.

Qualifications:

• Red Seal Journeyperson Parts Certification with previous parts, warehouse, front counter, sales experience, and Caterpillar product knowledge
• A high-performance, positive attitude, and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships
• Enthusiasm about work and ability to function effectively in a dynamic environment
• Ability to handle difficult situations and potentially unhappy customers
• Capable of working with minimal supervision
• Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experience
• Experience with SIS, AIMS, Antares, SIMSi, InfoCast, Lawson M3, Landmark Smart Office, M3 Sales Automation, and MS Office is an asset
