POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a full-time individual to join our parts team, with opportunities for success and growth within our company. The ideal candidate will have experience working in or managing a parts department. Reporting to the Parts Manager, the Parts Person will assist with all functions of the Parts Department at Headwater Equipment Sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain organized inventory of stock
2. Assist in the yard and warehouse as needed
3. Stocking and pulling parts from the warehouse
4. Shipping and receiving of parts
5. Maintain parts sales
6. Address customer needs via phone, email, and in person

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in a Parts department
• Parts person ticket is an asset but not required
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Valid driver’s license with minimal demerits and no suspensions, DUIs, or distracted driving offenses
• Ability to operate equipment (e.g., forklift, telehandler, skid steer) with training provided
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Conscientious, quick learner
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on various tasks
• Sales and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Professional demeanor and team-oriented mindset
• Commitment to company values, code of conduct, and procedures

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• Office environment
• 8-hour workdays, Monday to Friday
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
