Job summary

Premier Truck Group is seeking a Parts Delivery Driver in Sarnia, Canada, to deliver parts safely and on time, following warehouse directions and maintaining paperwork.

You will communicate issues, maintain the delivery vehicle and driving record, and contribute to customer satisfaction while upholding PTG's service standards. A high school diploma, 2 years' experience, and a G license are required; PTG offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of education/experience.
• Valid driver’s license G.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts as directed by Warehouse Supervisor.
• Process and maintain delivery paperwork.
• Communicate delivery issues to customers, drivers, and management.
• Maintain a strong relationship between the company and the customer.
• Maintain delivery vehicle and insurable driving record.
• Meet commitments to customers.
• Participate in and contribute to team and department goals.
• Maintain company vehicle; perform daily inspections.
• Perform other duties as delegated by Warehouse Supervisor.

Parts Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Deliver Parts as per Warehouse Supervisor directions, in a safe & timely manner
• Process and maintain appropriate paperwork coinciding with delivery transaction
• Effectively communicate delivery issues to all levels, customers, drivers, and management for resolution
• Promote a strong relationship between the company & the customer; must have good interaction with our customers & drivers
• Exercise responsibility for the maintenance of delivery vehicle and maintain insurable driving record
• Meet commitments to customers
• Participate & contribute to the achievement of team goals, as well as other departments within the dealership
• Maintain company customer service standards while exceeding our customers' expectations
• Maintain company vehicle; Daily Vehicle inspections (logged and recorded on Vehicle Inspection Sheets)
• Any other duties as delegated by Warehouse Supervisor

Parts Delivery Driver Requirements:

• A high school diploma and/or GED is required.
• Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities. Minimum 2 years
• License - G
• $20-$22 hourly
