Job summary

Toromont Cat is seeking a Parts Counter Person for our Ottawa location. The role focuses on advising customers and distributing parts while delivering superior service as the primary contact in the branch.

You will handle parts inquiries at the counter, by email, and by phone, source and order parts, manage backorders, and participate in inventory counts. A strong commitment to safety and customer care is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum post-secondary education.
• 3+ years of experience in a parts service role.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
• Enhance our customer's experience by providing product expertise, relevant parts recommendations and regular communication of current and upcoming parts promotions
• Manage parts inquiries and correspondence effectively over the parts counter, through email and by phone in a timely and courteous manner
• Oversee the daily functions of the parts operation, including sourcing, procuring and ordering parts, following up on backorders and credits, conducting inventory counts, processing cores and warranties as well as building hydraulic hoses for both internal and external customers
• Provide on call service as required, at times on weekends and evenings

Toromont Cat is looking for a Parts Counter Person to join our team at Ottawa location! The Parts Counter Person plays a vital role in customer service at our Branch as the key customer contact for advising and distributing parts and consistently providing superior service.

Pay Type

Full Time, Permanent

Compensation

$49,845 to $62,305

The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available
