Job summary

Toromont Cat is looking for a Parts Warehouse Person to join our Thunder Bay team. The role coordinates and executes day to day warehouse operations to ensure the entire team provides superior service to internal and external customers.

We offer full-time, permanent employment with a compensation of $26.43 per hour and a total rewards package. You will perform warehouse duties, process orders, manage inventory, and support flexible schedules across Eastern Canada.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives
• Process shop and customer orders, stock receipt and processing, picking and delivery of parts to internal and external customers, processing incoming and outgoing freight and stock transfers
• Ensure customers’ needs are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional manner
• Help maintain the parts physical and electronic inventory
• Provide on-call service on weekends for emergency parts orders on a rotating basis
• Safely operate lift truck
• Packaging and shipping of dangerous goods
• Assist with the organization and control of inventory

In a typical day, YOU will:
