Job summary

Toromont Cat is seeking a Parts Counter Person at our Ottawa location to deliver outstanding customer service and expert parts guidance. You will be the primary contact for advising and distributing parts, while supporting sales through accurate recommendations and timely communication.

This role requires a post-secondary education and at least 3 years in a parts service position, with opportunities for growth within a trusted Caterpillar dealership network across Eastern Canada.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
• Enhance our customer's experience and commitment to brand loyalty by providing product expertise, relevant parts recommendations and regular communication of current and upcoming parts promotions
• Manage parts inquiries and correspondence effectively over the parts counter, through email and by phone in a timely and courteous manner
• Manage the daily functions of the parts operation, including sourcing, procuring and ordering parts, following up on backorders and credits, conducting inventory counts, processing cores and warranties, and building hydraulic hoses for internal and external customers
• Provide on call service as required, at times on weekends and evenings

Toromont Cat is looking for a Parts Counter Person to join our team at Ottawa location! The Parts Counter Person plays a vital role in customer service at our Branch as the key customer contact for advising and distributing parts and consistently providing superior service.

Pay Type

Full Time, Permanent

Compensation

$49,845 to $62,305

The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available
