Acura of Langley, part of the Dilawri Group of Companies, is seeking a Parts Advisor to join our team. You will support dealership operations by sourcing, selling, and distributing automotive parts and accessories, while maintaining inventory accuracy and delivering timely, professional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an automotive parts department required.
• Experience with dealership parts operations and inventory management considered an asset.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, components, and replacement parts required.
• Experience using electronic parts catalogs and dealership management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to retail, wholesale, and internal customers.
• Assist technicians and customers in identifying and sourcing the correct replacement parts and accessories.
• Utilize manufacturer catalogs, electronic parts systems, and other resources to accurately identify parts requirements.
• Process parts sales transactions, including preparing invoices, sales orders, and related documentation.
• Receive and manage telephone, email, and in-person parts inquiries and orders.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory control, stock replenishment, and cycle counts.
• Order parts from suppliers and manufacturers while tracking backorders and delivery status.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.
• Process returns, warranty parts, exchanges, and credits in accordance with company and manufacturer policies.
• Recommend alternative parts or solutions when requested items are unavailable.
• Promote and sell parts, accessories, and related products to maximize customersatisfaction and departmental performance.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and customer orders.
• Collaborate closely with Service, Sales, and other dealership departments to ensure operational efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department environment.
• Stay current on product knowledge, manufacturer updates, and dealership procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Position Overview

Acura of Langley is seeking a Parts Advisor to joinour team, reporting directly to the Parts Manager. The Parts Advisor plays acritical role in supporting dealership operations by providing exceptionalservice to both internal technicians and external customers through theaccurate sourcing, selling, and distribution of automotive parts andaccessories. This position contributes to the overall success of the PartsDepartment by maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting efficient service operations,and ensuring customers receive timely and professional assistance. Thesuccessful candidate will demonstrate strong product knowledge, attention todetail, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced dealership environment

The expected pay for this position is $55,000.00 annually.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Provideprompt, courteous, and professional service to retail, wholesale, andinternal customers
