Job summary

Securiguard Services Ltd. in London, Ontario is seeking a Part-Time Security Dispatcher to monitor access control, fire protection, CCTV and elevators, and to ensure building safety. The role involves logging information, dispatching security and building operations teams, and conducting audits.

You will collaborate with the security team to address issues and emergencies promptly. Shifts rotate two weeks days and two weeks nights, with 10–30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) months experience as a control room operator/security dispatcher.
• Education in Emergency Telecommunications is considered an asset
• Must be knowledgeable in various systems including but not limited to fire and life safety systems, CCTV, Access control systems, Intercom systems
• Ability to communicate well and be understood
• Ability to handle stressful situations and high volumes of calls
• Approaches situations with a listening mindset
• Must be reliable, of sound character and a team-player
• Must be proficient with Microsoft office and excel
• Must be able to MULTITASK in a FAST-PACED environment

Pay Rate

$22.13/hour
