Job summary

Tim Hortons in Ontario is seeking a Shift Supervisor to help lead daily operations and ensure guest satisfaction on every shift, with a focus on teamwork and training. You will train team members, supervise service, assist with cash handling, and ensure open/close readiness, food safety, and high standards.

Responsibilities

• Train, monitor and reinforce food safety procedures.
• Act as Cash Manager and set up cash registers for opening and verify cash at close.
• Perform walk-throughs to ensure the restaurant is ready to open/close and during rush periods.
• Train and communicate with team members to maximize retention and performance.
• Supervise and coordinate execution of operations while ensuring policies are followed.
• Maintain quality, production and service standards to create a safe and professional environment.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage to meet customer service standards.
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues effectively.

As a Shift Supervisor at Tim Hortons, your top priority is guest satisfaction!

Shift Supervisors are a critical part of our restaurant leadership team. Shift Supervisors work with restaurant management to provide the direction and training required on every shift to exceed our customer's expectations. As a Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for assisting the execution of daily operations activities

General Responsibilities:

• Train, monitor and reinforce food safety procedures to team members.
• Act as Cash Manager as needed, including setting up cash register(s) at open and verifying cash at close.
• Perform walk-through’s to ensure restaurant is ready to open/close and/or rush-ready.
• Work with Restaurant Management team to train, develop and communicate with team members in a way that maximizes retention.
• Supervise, coordinate and delegate the execution of operations tasks and ensure compliance with all Company policies.
• Work with Restaurant Management team to ensure quality, production and service standards are met and to create a safe, efficient and professional environment for customer and other employees.
• Assist the Restaurant Management team in maintaining proper coverage via team member schedules to ensure that the restaurant attains/exceeds all customer service standards.
• Follow up and ensure resolution of guest-related issues as needed.
