Job summary

Canna Cabana Inc. in Airdrie, Alberta is seeking Part Time Shift Leaders who are knowledgeable, responsible, and mature to supervise daily store operations. You will support store management and stand in for the Store Manager when needed.

You will lead staff on shift, ensure health and safety standards, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. The role requires SellSafe certification, strong communication, and reliable teamwork; flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have SellSafe Certification
• Completion of high school and college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training required
• Demonstrated sales and service orientation required
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in the retail industry required - Cannabis industry preferred
• A valid First Aid certification is considered an asset
• Excellent time management and prioritizing skills required
• Demonstrated ability to train and motivate staff required
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends and different locations

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to store management in supervising and facilitating the daily operations of the store
• Oversee the responsibilities of the Store Manager in the absence of SM or ASM
• Assist in the delivery of key personnel management when on shift
• Provide direction and instruction to store associates on shift
• Ensure store conditions meet established standards
• Assist in staffing to meet business needs
• Lead sales and customer service during shifts
• Greet and assist customers and model exemplary conduct
• Ensure health, safety and security regulations are followed
• Handle customer complaints and escalate as needed
• Achieve sales targets and store KPIs
• Oversee inventory management and shift inventory processes
