Job summary

Student Transportation of Canada is seeking School Bus Drivers in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This part-time role offers 20–25 hours per week with a Monday–Friday schedule and summer breaks. Training will be provided to obtain or upgrade your Class 5 license at no cost.

Starting pay is CAD 24.64–24.99 per hour, with opportunities to make a positive difference in the lives of local children. Previous driving experience is welcomed but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have a full Class 5 driver's license with at least 3 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive school buses to pick up and drop off students along predetermined routes in the morning and afternoon.
• Operate Monday to Friday routes from September to end of June, with summers off.

What do School Bus Drivers do?

It's pretty simple, in the morning we pick up school aged passengers from predetermined locations and then deliver them to school. In the afternoon, we do the exact same thing, just in reverse order; we take them from school back home (once again at predetermined locations).

School Bus Drivers operate Monday - Friday, from September until the end of June...that's right, summers off.

Who can do this job?

As long as you are responsible adult and have at least a full class 5 driver's license (minimum 3 years), we can teach you how...for FREE!
