Job summary

Student Transportation of Canada in the Niagara Region is seeking part-time School Bus Drivers to support local families. If you have a Class-G license, you can be trained to upgrade to Class-B at no cost, and you can join a Monday–Friday route.

This role runs September to June with summers off, offering 15–20 hours per week and a pay rate of $21.70 per hour. No prior experience required beyond a willingness to work with children and a responsible attitude.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class-G driver's license.
• Be a responsible adult and able to pass a background check.
• Willing to train for a Class-B license at no cost.

Responsibilities

• Drive mornings and afternoons to pick up and drop off school-aged passengers.
• Operate on predetermined routes with a Monday–Friday schedule.

What do School Bus Drivers do?

It's pretty simple, in the morning we pick up school aged passengers from predetermined locations and then deliver them to school. In the afternoon, we do the exact same thing, just in reverse order; we take them from school back home (once again at predetermined locations).

School Bus Drivers operateMonday - Friday, from September until the end of June...that's right,summers off.Depending upon your specific route, you could work anywhere from 7 am - 9:30 am then again in the afternoon from about 2 pm - 4 pm.
