Job summary

Student Transportation of Canada is seeking school bus drivers in London, Ontario. This role offers part-time, flexible employment (15-20 hours per week) with a set Monday–Friday schedule and summers off, in a friendly, community-minded environment.

Starting pay is $21.55 per hour with free license upgrades and opportunities to advance. Training for Class-B is provided at no cost to you, and you can bring your child along and save on daycare while making a positive difference for local children.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class-G driver’s license or be able to obtain one.
• Experience driving school buses is a plus, but not required as training is provided for free.

Responsibilities

• Transport school children to and from predetermined locations on schedule.
• Operate Monday–Friday routes with morning and afternoon shifts.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and proper operation of the vehicle.

What do School Bus Drivers do?

It's pretty simple, in the morning we pick up school aged passengers from predetermined locations and then deliver them to school. In the afternoon, we do the exact same thing, just in reverse order; we take them from school back home (once again at predetermined locations).

School Bus Drivers operate Monday - Friday, from September until the end of June...that's right, summers off. Depending upon your specific route, you could work anywhere from 7am -9:30am then again in the afternoon from about 2pm - 4pm.
