Job summary

Student Transportation of Canada is seeking a part-time School Bus Driver in Ontario. You will transport school-aged children to and from predetermined locations, with morning and afternoon routes, Monday through Friday.

Training for a Class-G license is provided at no cost, and the role offers a 15-20 hour work week with summers off.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class-G driver's license.
• Excellent communication with children and families.
• Able to work mornings and afternoons Mon-Fri.

Responsibilities

• Drive and pick up school-aged passengers at predetermined locations.
• Deliver children to school in the morning and return in the afternoon.
• Follow schedules and maintain safety during transit.

What do School Bus Drivers do?

It's pretty simple, in the morning we pick up school aged passengers from predetermined locations and then deliver them to school. In the afternoon, we do the exact same thing, just in reverse order; we take them from school back home (once again at predetermined locations).

School Bus Drivers operateMonday - Friday, from September until the end of June...that's right,summers off.Depending upon your specific route, you could work anywhere from 7 am - 9:30 am then again in the afternoon from about 2 pm - 4 pm.
