Job summary

Student Transportation of Canada is seeking School Bus Drivers in the Niagara Region (St. Catharines) for a flexible part-time role. No prior experience required; we provide free training to help you obtain your Class-B license.

Your schedule is Monday to Friday with routes before and after school, typically from 7:00–9:30 am and 2:00–4:00 pm, for 15–20 hours per week. Earn $21.70 per hour, with holidays and summers off.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class-G driver's license.
• Willing to obtain a Class-B license with training provided at no cost.
• Reliable, responsible adult with a focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Pick up school-aged passengers from predetermined locations in the morning and deliver to school.
• Return students home in the afternoon following the same routes.
• Operate Monday to Friday on a predictable route schedule during the school year.

What do School Bus Drivers do?

It's pretty simple, in the morning we pick up school aged passengers from predetermined locations and then deliver them to school. In the afternoon, we do the exact same thing, just in reverse order; we take them from school back home (once again at predetermined locations).

School Bus Drivers operateMonday - Friday, from September until the end of June...that's right,summers off.Depending upon your specific route, you could work anywhere from 7 am - 9:30 am then again in the afternoon from about 2 pm - 4 pm.

Who can do this job?
