Job summary

Elgie Bus Lines, a division of Student Transportation of Canada, is seeking new and experienced School Bus Drivers for flexible part-time work. Training for a Class-B license is available at no cost, and drivers enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule with summers off.

Drivers operate on predetermined routes to pick up and drop off school-aged passengers, morning and afternoon. This position is ideal for community-minded individuals seeking meaningful, part-time work with a local employer.

Qualifications

• Have a responsible attitude and good driving record.
• Willing to train for free to obtain Class-B license.

Responsibilities

• Pick up school-age passengers from predetermined locations in the morning and deliver them to school.
• In the afternoon, pick up from school and return them home along the same routes.

What do School Bus Drivers do?

It's pretty simple, in the morning we pick up school aged passengers from predetermined locations and then deliver them to school. In the afternoon, we do the exact same thing, just in reverse order; we take them from school back home (once again at predetermined locations).

School Bus Drivers operate Monday - Friday, from September until the end of June...that's right, summers off. Depending upon your specific route, you could work anywhere from 7 am - 9:30 am then again in the afternoon from about 2 pm - 4 pm.

Who can do this job?

As long as you are responsible adult and have at least a 'Class-G' drivers license, we can teach you how...for FREE!
