Job summary

Providence Manor in Kingston, Ontario, is seeking a Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse to join the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities

• Performs nursing duties within RHPA and CN Ontario Standards of Practice.
• Ensures compliance with nursing practice standards and guidelines.
• Collaborates with the care team to assess resident needs and update care plans.
• Participates in all aspects of resident care to address physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs while maintaining safety.
• Uses therapeutic communication with residents, families and coworkers to meet needs with dignity.
• Supports team building and effective communication for a collaborative care environment.
• As team leader, liaises between care team members and the Registered Nurse to deliver resident‑centered care.
