Qualifications

• Registered with the College of Opticians and hold a valid Dispensing Optician License in your province.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in an optical dispensary.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and stay organized.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada; immigration support is not provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in understanding visual needs and interpreting prescriptions.
• Guide frame and lens selection for comfort, style, and fit.
• Perform accurate dispensing measurements and conduct quality checks.
• Maintain knowledge of frames, lenses, treatments, and current promotions.
• Manage after-care and resolve complaints using effective problem-solving.
• Support contact lens recommendations and promotions as directed by leadership.
• Handle third-party billing professionally and in accordance with policies.
• Coach teammates to develop optical knowledge and skills.
• Contribute to daily store operations and uphold brand standards.
