Job summary

SilverStar is hiring a part-time Human Resources Assistant to join our team at the resort. You will be a key contact for employees and leaders, supporting recruitment, employee relations, safety and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires initiative, excellent communication, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Flexible hours include at least one weekend day, with in-person work at the resort.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Diploma required.
• Some experience in Human Resources is an asset.
• Proven ability to build strong working relationships.

Responsibilities

• HR administration: maintain accurate employee records, be available for in-person check-ins, assist with policy reviews and background checks, and maintain a compliance database.
• Recruitment: post job vacancies, track applications, assist in interviews and reference checks as required.
• Onboarding: assist with onboarding process, distribute uniforms and season passes, order name badges, and help with online orientation login issues.
• HR projects: assist with new HR initiatives.
• Training: source applicable training materials and coordinate with managers on training requests.
