Job summary

Independent Living Services Simcoe County is seeking a part-time Personal Support Worker/Attendant to assist adults living at home. The role involves non-medical ADLs and IADLs under client plans, with a 30-hour bi-weekly schedule, and shift patterns across two weeks.

Reporting to the Supervisor of Staffing, you will provide compassionate, respectful care, maintain confidentiality, and travel to client homes using your own vehicle.

Qualifications

• PSW certification or equivalent experience (min 3000 hours) in community/long-term care.
• Current First Aid and CPR level C Certification, successful Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license to travel to and from client homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with non-medical activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) as required and as outlined in the client’s plan.
• Provide high-quality support services enabling clients to live independently at home.
