Job summary

Oxford Learning Markham East is seeking a part-time English teacher-tutor to support students after school. You will work in-person at our Markham East centre, guiding students through language skills and providing individual attention within a small-group setting.

Responsibilities include following pre-planned lessons, teaching up to three students at once, and maintaining post-lesson notes. The role requires reliability and a willingness to commute to the centre.

Qualifications

• Strong English written and oral communication skills.
• Teaching and tutoring experience with K-12 students.
• Ability to multitask and manage up to three students simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 3 students at a time, in-person and online as needed.
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and pre-planned lessons.
• Complete post-lesson notes and maintain a friendly, professional manner.
