Oxford Learning Markham East is seeking a part-time teacher‑tutor to support English and math learning for students in the after-school and evening hours. The role includes teaching up to three students at varying levels, both online and in-person, and following the Oxford Learning methodologies.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or teaching certification, strong English communication, and the ability to guide students through curriculum content with professional, friendly conduct.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or teaching certification.
• Fourth-year university students with tutoring experience will be considered.
• Knowledge of the current K-12 curriculum is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 3 students at different levels.
• Teach online and in-person.
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies.
• Fill in post-lesson notes and daily student updates.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor.
