Job summary

A Canadian supplemental education provider is seeking a part-time English Teacher/Tutor at Oxford Learning Markham East. This role involves teaching students in-person, following pre-planned lessons without the need for lesson planning. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, strong English communication skills, and some teaching experience. You will engage with students, helping them build confidence in their English skills and enjoy a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Some experience teaching/tutoring at a Kindergarten to Grade 12 level.
• Good knowledge of the current Elementary to Grade 12 curriculum.
• Fourth-year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels.
• Completing daily student communication updates.
• Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times.
