Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Part‑Time (0.40 F.T.E.) Educational Assistant at Grimshaw Public School. The successful candidate will work with a variety of students with diverse needs and will commence immediately, supporting teachers and the school community.

The position is a union role under CUPE Local 4839. A current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check is required, with the record check dated within the last six months.

Qualifications

• Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent.
• Experience and/or training working with young children.

Job description

Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Part‑Time (0.40 F.T.E.) Educational Assistant at Grimshaw Public School. This position will commence immediately. The successful candidate will be working with a variety of students with diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent
• Experience and/or training working with young children

Rate of Pay:

$22.59 to $28.02 per hour (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the CUPE Local 4839 and the Peace River School Division).
