Peace River School Division is seeking a highly motivated Full-Time (1.00 f.t.e.) Temporary Complexity Team Educational Assistant in Peace Riverto provide targeted support to students in Grades 7-12. The position will commence on August 27, 2026 and continue to June 29, 2027.

Peace River is a town in northwest Alberta, Canada. It is along the banks of the Peace River at its confluence with the Smoky River, the Heart River and Pat's Creek. Qualifications:

• Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
• Experience working directly with students in a grade 7 to 12 setting

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers and district office Program Coordinators
• A strong desire to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Ability to work independently.
• The ability to work independently, manage small groups effectively, and follow structured intervention plans.
• High level of commitment, accountability, and reliability.

Rate of Pay:

$22.59 to $28.02 per hour(dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the CUPE Local 4839 and the Peace River School Division).
