Job summary

Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Educational Assistant (16 hours/week, Monday-Thursday) for Whispering Ridge Community School. The incumbent will work under the supervision of a certificated teacher to support student learning and assist with personal care as needed.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent; an Educational Assistant Diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Educational Assistant Diploma preferred.
• CPR/First Aid would be asset.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Educational Assistant Diploma is preferred
• CPR/First Aid would be considered an asset
• Experience working with children in a classroom/organized setting is preferred
• You have the ability and willingness to perform required physical tasks, as well as assist with personal care.
• You have the ability to meet outside of school hours.
• You have the ability to work as part of a team.
