Job summary

National Diabetes Trust is seeking a part-time Donations Pickup Driver to support our charity operations in Ontario. You will drive a 16-foot straight truck on established routes, collect donated clothing and household items, and deliver them to partners and storage facilities.

Requires Grade 12, clean driving record, Class 5/G license, map-reading ability, and 5 years driving experience. Up to 29 hours weekly with signing bonus of $1500, pension plan after eligibility, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Map reading ability and safe driving practices.
• Strong communication with the public and volunteers.
• Excellent organizational and route-planning skills.
• Ability to read maps and follow written/verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 16-foot straight truck on established routes.
• Collect donated clothing and household items from homes and bins.
• Deliver items to corporate partners and storage facilities.
• Complete daily paperwork and logs as required.
• Ensure vehicle safety and compliance with laws and regulations.
