Job summary

National Diabetes Trust in Cambridge, Ontario is seeking a part-time Donations Pickup Driver to support our charitable mission. You will drive established routes to collect donated clothing and household items from customers’ homes and our donation bins, delivering to partners and storage facilities.

The role offers up to 29 hours per week, a $20.65 hourly wage, and a $1,000 signing bonus, plus benefits like a pension plan and corporate discounts.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read maps and map routes.
• Ability to drive a 3-Ton (16 foot) straight truck.
• Good command of English.
• Strong organizational and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive established routes to collect donated clothing and household items.
• Deliver items to corporate partners and storage facilities.
• Complete daily paperwork and Hours-of-Service logs.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle safety.
• Maintain professional public image and communicate with donors.
