Job summary

National Diabetes Trust is seeking a part-time Charitable Donations Pickup Driver in Ontario to drive established routes collecting donated clothing and household items from homes and donation bins. You will deliver items to corporate partners and storage facilities, while ensuring safety and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

The role supports Canada’s largest charitable clothing collection program, with a focus on reliable scheduling, customer service, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read maps and map routes for efficient pickup.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to drive a 3-ton (16 foot) straight truck and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Drive established routes to collect donated items from homes and donation bins.
• Deliver items to corporate partners and storage facilities.
• Complete and submit required paperwork daily and log hours of service.
• Maintain vehicle inspections and report route discrepancies.
