The Prince George Hotel in Halifax is hiring a Part Time Banquet Server to support our Catering team during events. You will provide friendly service, help with setup and teardown, and ensure all details align with contracts while maintaining clean service areas.

Qualifications

• Previous serving or hospitality experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient food and beverage service during events.
• Assist with banquet room setup and tear-down based on event requirements.
• Ensure service details align with catering contracts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas and equipment.
• Support preparation of portable bars and service stations.
• Assist with delivery of scheduled breaks and meals.
• Provide attentive service and respond to guest needs.
• Support VIP functions with elevated service standards when required.
• Follow all safety procedures and report hazards or incidents.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
