Job summary

Boardwalk in Airdrie is seeking an experienced Cleaner to keep our communities clean and sanitized. You will service common areas, vacant suites, and support with light maintenance while working independently as part of a team.

Requirements include 2 years cleaning experience, strong English skills, and a valid driver's license with own vehicle. Schedule is 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday to Wednesday, 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 2 years cleaning experience required.
• Working knowledge of English (verbal and written).
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 90 kg with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean building entrances, elevators, offices, halls, stairwells, laundry rooms, garbage rooms, amenity rooms, and other common areas.
• Clean vacant suites and perform touch-ups as needed.
• Interior and exterior garbage pick-up; inventory management and equipment maintenance.

This position is located in Airdrie. We are looking for a candidate that can work a minimum of 24 hours a week Monday-Friday.

Location

• Tower Lane Terrace Apartments (Airdrie)

Responsibilities

• Clean building entrances, elevators, offices, halls, stairwells, laundry rooms, garbage rooms, amenity rooms, and other common areas
• Clean vacant suites and complete suite touch-ups
• Interior and exterior garbage pick-up
• Assist with snow removal and touch-up painting as required
• Ensure proper and accurate inventory management
• Ensure all equipment is working and being maintained properly
• Complete other tasks and assist other sites as required

Experience And Educational Requirements

• 2 years cleaning experience required

Technical Requirements

• Working knowledge of English both verbal and written
• Familiarity with technology is an asset

Non-Technical Requirements

• Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
• Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and enthusiasm

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Own reliable vehicle
