Job summary

Boardwalk seeks an on-site customer service representative with a passion for helping residents find their perfect home. You will engage with residents, manage tasks, and support leasing activities at Aspire/View Royal, Aurora Vic West, or The Vue Langford locations.

Eligible candidates will have at least 2 years in customer service and may hold post-secondary education. The role involves evening/weekend shifts, driving, and on-site responsibilities to ensure high-quality service and property

Qualifications

• 2 years customer service experience required.
• Post-Secondary education in related field is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site customer interactions and inquiries with a focus on service quality.
• Collect rent and follow up on defaults as needed.
• Conduct inspections of vacant and upcoming suites and lease/show suites.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure work is completed per contract.
• Assist with site maintenance tasks, cleaning, and upkeep.
• Maintain accurate records and support daily operations.

Location

• Aspire (View Royal area), or
• Aurora (Vic West area), or
• The Vue (Langford area)

Main Requirements

• Must live on site (60% rental discount)
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and own vehicle required

Responsibilities

• Applicant must love people, be versatile, hands-on with cleaning and maintenance tasks and take ownership of the site
• Successful applicants must have a flexible schedule and be available to work evenings and weekends
• Collect rent and follow up on defaults
• Inspections of vacant and upcoming suites
• Lease and show suites
• Annual suite inspections
• Prepare and deliver bank deposits
• Ensure contractors arrive as per scheduled timelines and complete their work per conditions of the contract
• Assist with snow removal, cleaning, and touch-up painting as required
• Complete other tasks as assigned

Experience And Educational Requirements

• 2 years customer service experience required
• Post-Secondary education in related field is an asset

Technical Requirements

• Computer experience is required with web based programs preferred
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing systems and new technology
• Familiarity with technology is an asset

Non-Technical Requirements

• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Ability to take responsibility for all actions and decisions and to follow through until a resolution is obtained
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness
• Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
• Ability to maneuver or lift up to 10kg with the proper equipment
