Job summary

Boardwalk is seeking a dedicated cleaner for Varsity Square Apartments in NW Calgary on a 3‑month contract. You will maintain cleanliness across common areas, vacant suites, and exterior spaces, ensuring safety and comfort for residents.

A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required, with the ability to work independently and in a team setting. The role demands physical stamina—up to eight hours of walking/standing, stairs, and lifting—and at least 2 years of cleaning experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years cleaning experience required.
• Working knowledge of English (verbal and written).
• Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Clean building entrances, elevators, offices, halls, stairwells, laundry rooms, garbage rooms, amenity rooms, and other common areas.
• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of our Resident Members.
• Clean vacant suites and complete suite touch-ups.
• Interior and exterior garbage pick-up.
• Assist with snow removal and touch-up painting as required.
• Ensure proper and accurate inventory management.
• Ensure all equipment is working and being maintained properly.
• Complete other tasks and assist other sites as required.

Contract

This is a 3 month contract position.

Location

• Varsity Square Apartments (NW Calgary)

Responsibilities

Experience And Educational Requirements

• Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
