Job summary

The Chirton C of E Primary School, part of EQUA Mead Learning Trust, is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant (1:1) to support a pupil with diverse learning needs. You will work closely with the class teacher, Inclusion Lead, and parents to tailor learning experiences and help the pupil access lessons.

The role requires a caring, patient, and resilient individual with passion for safeguarding and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil to access learning and build confidence.
• Work with class teacher, Inclusion Lead and parents to deliver tailored support.
• Assist with individual provision plans and EHCP outcomes where applicable.
• Promote independence and positive learning behaviours in the pupil.
