Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking Sales Associates who deliver fast, friendly service, greet customers, assess needs, and guide them to the right solutions for home improvement projects. You’ll build product knowledge across departments and help customers complete whole projects.

You’ll work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends in a busy store environment. Strong interpersonal skills, customer focus, and a team mindset are essential, with 1–2 years retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• 1–2 years of retail or trade experience is an asset.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is often required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and thank customers in your department.
• Escort customers to appropriate merchandise across departments.
• Ask open-ended questions to understand customers' projects and needs.
• Promote services such as Tool Rental, Pro Desk, and other store services.
• Discuss options (good/better/best) and suggest related items to complete projects.
• Maintain knowledge of products and keep displays signed, stocked, and clean.
