Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a Sales Associate who thrives on helping customers and delivering fast, friendly service. You will actively greet shoppers, assess their needs, and guide them to solutions that fit their projects.

You will share product knowledge, promote services like Tool Rental or Pro Desk, and work with store teams to keep shelves stocked and safe, including flexible scheduling that may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years Retail or Trade experience an asset.
• Customer service oriented with ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and thank customers in their department and provide basic service in adjacent departments.
• Promote services such as Special Services, Tool Rental, Pro Desk, Pro Services, etc., and how to recommend them.
• Discuss options (good, better, best) and suggest related items/services outside of department to the customer.
• Educate customers about the whole project and maintain product knowledge across departments.
