Job summary

Nortera in Strathroy is seeking team members for production and operations. This role involves operating automated packaging lines and supporting sanitation, with 12-hour continental rotating shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate raw product supply, case erecting and packing; set up robot and labeling.
• Support sanitation to keep packaging equipment clean and compliant with HACCP and Food Safety Specs.
• Handle totes and pallets efficiently.
• Perform preliminary quality checks on packaging materials and product.
• Follow Safety, HACCP, GMP and Food Safety protocols and report concerns.

Starting Rate: $20.50

In this job, you will produce healthier and better-quality food for customers and communities. Please note the shift requirements for this position include 12-hour continental rotating shifts including nights and weekends.

Your daily role:

• Effective and knowledgeable operation of raw product supply, case erecting and case packing, Performing accurate robot and labelling set up;
• Support Sanitation team to ensure all packaging equipment is cleaned and sanitized regularly to HACCP and Food Safety Specifications, Supporting Line Leader to perform effective and efficient changeovers;
• Effective tote components and pallet handling;
• Preliminary quality check on product; verify integrity of packaging materials, coding clarity and legibility;
• Working in compliance with established Safety, HACCP, GMP and Food Safety protocols, reporting all concerns to your supervisor
