Job summary

Rexel is a world leader in electrical distribution. We seek an Outside Sales Representative based in Victoria to prospect and onboard new accounts, develop growth strategies, and expand our regional customer base.

You will maintain an opportunity pipeline, attend weekly strategy meetings, document activities in the CRM, and ensure top-notch service across project, branch and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of sales experience in electrical distribution.
• Electrical experience is required.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Track record of meeting sales targets.
• Outstanding communication with customers.
• Experience using CRM software.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and onboard new accounts.
• Develop strategies to increase sales growth in the existing customer base.
• Conduct the required number of weekly account visits to achieve coverage.
• Develop an opportunity pipeline to support monthly sales objectives.
• Attend weekly strategy meetings with the Regional Sales Manager.
• Ensure all sales activities are documented in the CRM.
• Facilitate industry-leading customer service between project, branch and operations teams.

As an Outside Sales Representative based in Victoria, your essential duties will be to:

• Prospect and onboard new accounts.
• Develop strategies to increase sales growth in the existing customer account base.
• Conduct the required number of weekly account visits to achieve determined account coverage.
• Develop an opportunity pipeline to support monthly sales objectives.
• Attend weekly strategy meetings with the Regional Sales Manager and team meetings when scheduled.
• Ensure all sales activities are properly documented in the company CRM, on an ongoing basis.
• Facilitate industry-leading customer service between project, branch and operational teams.

To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• 2-3 years of sales experience within the electrical distribution industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Electrical experience is a must-have.
• Proven ability to build/maintain productive relationships.
• Track record of achieving sales targets.
• Outstanding communication skills, to communicate effectively with all current and prospective customers on a regular basis.
• Experience with CRM software.
• Able to travel as required.
