Job summary

Rexel Canada, a global leader in electrical distribution, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative based in Burlington, ON. You will prospect and onboard new accounts, develop growth strategies for existing clients, and maintain detailed CRM records to drive territory expansion.

You will work with the Regional Sales Manager to achieve regional targets, attend strategy meetings, and build strong relationships with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of sales experience in the electrical distribution industry or an equivalent education/experience mix.
• Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships.
• Track record of achieving sales targets.
• Outstanding communication and negotiating skills.
• Experience with a CRM software system.

Job Description

As an Outside Sales Representative based in Burlington, ON, your essential duties will be to:

• Prospect and onboard new accounts
• Develop strategies to increase sales growth in the existing customer account base
• Conduct the required number of weekly account visits to achieve determined account coverage
• Develop an opportunity pipeline to support monthly sales objectives
• Attend weekly strategy meetings with Regional Sales Manager and team meetings when scheduled
• Ensure all sales activities are properly documented in the company CRM, on an ongoing basis
• Facilitate industry‑leading customer service between project, branch and operational teams
• Seeking Hunter – someone who wants to build and establish a territory.

To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Qualifications

• 2‑3 years of sales experience within the electrical distribution industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven ability to build/maintain productive relationships
• Track record of achieving sales targets
• Outstanding communication skills, to communicate effectively with all current and prospective customers on a regular basis
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Experience with a CRM software

Additional Information

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is CAD 75,000 – 95,000. Final compensation within this range will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. This range does not include variable pay or other components of Rexel’s total rewards package.
