Outside Sales Representative for NovaTex Nonwoven plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding market reach, and building long-term client relationships. This role combines technical expertise in needlepunch products with strategic sales skills to meet the needs of diverse industries (e.g., automotive, filtration, geotextiles, construction).

Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition & Business Development
  • Generate leads through cold calls, trade shows, industry events, and digital outreach.
  • Travel to client factories, mills, and job sites as needed.
  • Account Management & Relationship Building
  • Technical Expertise & Product Knowledge
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly / annual sales quotas for volume, revenue, and profitability.
  • Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and client interactions.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends for management review.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Manufacturing.
  • 3–5+ years of proven success in B2B sales, preferably in manufacturing, textiles, nonwovens, or industrial materials.
  • Experience selling technical products to industries such as automotive, construction, filtration, or geotextiles.
  • Track record of meeting / exceeding sales quotas and managing key accounts.
  • Strong understanding of nonwoven manufacturing processes (e.g., needlepunch, carding, bonding).
  • Familiarity with material properties (fiber types, weight, tensile strength) and their applications in end-use markets.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards (ISO, ASTM), and client requirements.
