Qualifications

Job description

Kerr Smart Energy is a leading distributor of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Equipment, and Supplies. We are looking to add a dynamic, dedicated, and highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to service the Greater Toronto area.

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers in the HVAC/R industry. You will play a key role in identifying customer needs, providing technical solutions, and ensuring exceptional service to maximize customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow business within the GTA.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with contractors, mechanical firms, and commercial businesses.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support and consultation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and support for customer needs.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the HVAC/R industry or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC/R products and solutions.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the GTA.
