Job summary

Anthem Properties Group in Victoria, BC, seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician to look after outdoor retail and office facilities, keeping pace with a fast-changing property portfolio. You will perform minor carpentry, electrical, paint and plumbing repairs, water plants, manage waste, clean washrooms, and assist with event set ups while maintaining safety standards and clear documentation.

Working hours are 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Wed–Sun or Tue–Sat, with occasional on-call; salary range CAD

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant degree is a plus.
Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with the public.
Proven maintenance experience in a retail property environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform minor carpentry, electrical, paint and plumbing repairs and preventative maintenance.
Water plants, collect and sort trash and recycling.
Power wash and use a deck scrubber.
Perform general site maintenance.
Assist with on-site event set ups.
Complete inspections of all assigned areas.
Clean washrooms and common areas daily.
Ensure walkways are safe and clean.
Assist in maintaining building supply inventories.
Maintain access control and key control system.
Assist in maintaining tracking systems for fire and life safety.
Respond to tenant service requests.
Assist in planning and organization of workspace and common areas.
