Anthem Properties Group in Victoria, BC, seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician to look after outdoor retail and office facilities, keeping pace with a fast-changing property portfolio. You will perform minor carpentry, electrical, paint and plumbing repairs, water plants, manage waste, clean washrooms, and assist with event set ups while maintaining safety standards and clear documentation.

Working hours are 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Wed–Sun or Tue–Sat, with occasional on-call; salary range CAD

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant degree is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with the public.
• Proven maintenance experience in a retail property environment preferred.

• Work directly with, and be directed by the Property Manager, and Maintenance team members

You have

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant degree is a plus

• Strong communicationskills and a high degree of comfort interacting with the public

• Proven experience in a maintenance role(s), preferably within the retail property industry

• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools

• No problem working outdoors in a variety of weather - a good majority of our properties are open public spaces

• Valid BC Driver’s License with a clean driving record, access to a vehicle and ability to travel between properties.

• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office)

• Able to meet the physical demands of the job, including, but not limited to:

• Manuallabourin all types of weather conditions;

• Appetite to train for boom lift operating

• Lifting equipment and materials of 50lbsor moreup stairsand around ramps;

• Full days on your feet and able to walk the perimeter of the asset which encompasses a city block; and

• Scaling ladders and navigating heights.

Working Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Wednesday - Sunday,or 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Tuesday – Saturday.

Flexibility to work the occasional evening or weekend and ability toparticipatein on-call rotation as needed.

Pay range: $60,000 - $65,000 per annum
