Job summary

Cornerstone Maintenance Services, an Associa company, is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our Victoria-based team. This hands-on role focuses on general maintenance, repairs, renovations, and 24-hour emergency response for residential and commercial properties.

You will diagnose issues, perform carpentry, drywall, door installations, and other field work while documenting completed tasks and representing the company on site.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in building or facility maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal record check.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Complete general building maintenance and repairs.
• Assist with renovations, including carpentry, drywall, and door installation/repairs.
• Diagnose issues and determine next steps.
• Follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Document completed work and report on-site.
• Represent the company professionally on site.
• Lift and move tools and materials (up to 50lbs).
• Participate in rotating emergency on-call schedule.

Whatyou’lldo

• Assistwith and perform renovations, including carpentry, drywall, water damage remediation, and door installation/repairs
• Diagnose issues anddeterminenext steps

• Represent the company professionally on site
• Lift and move tools and materials (up to 50lbs)
• Participate in a rotating emergency on‑call schedule

Whatwe’relooking for

• Experience ingeneral maintenance, building maintenance, renovations, or similar hands‑on work
• Must have: Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem‑solving skills and adaptability
• Basic organization, time management, and documentation skills
• Willingness to provide a criminal record check
• Willingness to wear a company uniform
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation

Not required, but considered strong assets:

• Door installation and repair experience
• Water loss remediation experience
• Red Seal certification

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• 24‑hour on‑call shifts on a rotational basis
• Company vehicle will be provided
