Job summary

Anthem Properties Group Ltd. is seeking a reliable building cleaner for a contract role in Gibsons, BC, with options for part-time (16–21 hours/week) or full-time (37.5 hours/week).

You will perform routine cleaning, respond to tenant requests, and support seasonal maintenance such as snow clearing and landscaping, earning CAD 25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate commercial cleaning equipment and snow removal equipment.
• Training will be provided for cleaning chemicals.
• Standing/walking for extended periods.
• Energetic, flexible, reliable, friendly and professional.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Ideal candidate can perform minor repairs around the shopping centre.

Job description

The position is responsible for maintaining a clean and presentable building, both inside and out. This is a contract opportunity, and we’re open to either part-time (16 to 21 hours per week) or full-time (37.5 hours per week) schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors
• Vacuum carpets
• Emptying trash
• Sanitizing restroom and other high traffic areas
• Snow clearing in winter and landscaping in summer months
• General cleaning as assigned
• Respond to tenant and customer requests

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment and snow removal equipment
• Must work with cleaning chemicals; training will be provided
• Standing/walking for extended periods of time
• Must be energetic, flexible, and reliable
• Must be friendly, courteous, self-motivated, and professional
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work independently

The ideal candidate will have the ability to make minor repairs throughout the shopping centre.

Compensation: $25.00 per hour
