Job summary

Anthem Properties is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Worker to support a portfolio of mixed-use commercial retail and office properties, including Market Square. You will perform repairs, inspections, and basic troubleshooting, while maintaining logs and coordinating with the property team.

Based in Victoria, BC, this on-site role requires the ability to work outdoors in varied weather, strong multitasking, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

Geat skills working with the public.
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
No problem working outdoors in a variety of weather.
Transportation to visit properties as assigned.
Good computer skills (Microsoft Office).
Proven maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular property inspections of a portfolio of mixed-use commercial retail and office, based out of and including Market Square.
Perform basic repairs and maintenance including minor plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry tasks.
Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical systems.
Complete maintenance logs, delegate work orders and track results.
Assist with on-site event set ups and coordinate preventative maintenance for base buildings.
Maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and assist with contractor supervision to ensure quality and scope adherence.
