The Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance (OUSA) represents the interests of approximately 160,000 undergraduate and professional students, full-time and part-time, at nine student associations across Ontario. OUSA is run by a Steering Committee made up of elected student representatives from each of its member associations.
The General Assembly (GA) of OUSA is the highest governing body of this provincial lobbying organization. Decisions made at the General Assembly are binding upon OUSA, and policies passed become representative of students across Ontario. As such, being a GA delegate requires a high level of responsibility. If selected, you will primarily represent the interests of students at Ontario Tech University through the Ontario Tech Student Union (OTSU). It will be your duty to ensure that the policy passed at the General Assembly is useful and relevant to Ontario Tech students.
The Fall General Assembly will be held fully in-person at Laurentian University. Delegates are required to be in person for the duration of the General Assembly. All travel, accommodation, and food costs will be covered by OTSU.
Deadline: Applications close Sunday, September 22, at 11:59 p.m.
