Qualifications

• 3 years experience working on an order desk in a wholesale distribution environment is a requirement for this position.
• Detail oriented, customer focused with mechanical aptitude and good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from customers on the phone, e-mail and in person.
• Read, analyze, and interpret customer requests, directions and schedules.
• Answer customers' technical and product related questions.
• Enter orders onto our computer system noting customers' requirements.
• Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.
• Prepare quotes as needed under direction from our sales team.
• Process returns and credits as required.
• Work with other internal departments.
